Apples to Apples...

The girl likes her apples!

Christmas at the Cabin

This year my parents rented a cabin at Mahoney State Park for us to have Christmas at. We enjoyed meals together, opening gifts, making Christmas visits to special people, playing games and Elli even got a ride in the cutest little red sled I have ever seen! It was a special time... but went too fast! We are glad we got to celebrate with them before this big storm that is upon us!

Happy Birthday Baby!

We celebrated Elliana's 1st birthday with family and friends a couple weeks ago. The girl fully enjoyed being loved on by lots of people who love her to pieces, eating a cupcake (the WHOLE thing... the girl must be related to her mama!!) and many wonderful gifts! It was a great night and she was a happy girl the whole time! These special events are such a joy... It is such a blessing to experience these fun things through the eyes of a child. Looking forward to many celebrations ahead...
Happy Birthday Baby... You're 1! Can't wait for all of the adventures that lie ahead of us this year!

She's 1!

I've said it before and I will say it once again... Where did the time go?? I seriously feel like I was just walking through those hospital doors on December 4 (10 days OVERDUE!!) to be induced so we could meet our little girl. Now she is walking, saying a few words, making us laugh like crazy, and fall in love with her more and more everyday... and will become a BIG sister in a little over a month! I am so incredibly thankful for this girl!

Elliana Grace.. your daddy and I love you so much! We are thankful that God has entrusted you to us- to raise you, love you, train you up to be a little lady that loves Him and wants to serve Him with all of your heart! You are a blessing and your life and the meaning of your sweet name will always be a reminder to us... The Lord Answers Prayers! We waited and prayed and prayed and waited some more and you couldn't have been more worth the wait! We enjoy today and look forward to the rest of the days we have with you!
Happy 1st Birthday Elliana Grace!

This family is...

... so thankful!

I was just thinking last night about this Thanksgiving season and all that I have to be so incredibly grateful for this year. I don't even know where to start...
a happy, healthy, beautiful little (almost 1 year old) girl... a husband that works so hard to provide for our family...

a warm house to live in... an abundant harvest... safety this harvest season...
the HOPE we have in Christ... family that loves the Lord with all their hearts...
a new baby boy that is growing healthy and strong inside... an amazing group of friends that we love so much and that we are able to walk through this life with...
and so so so much more!
Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name... Psalm 100:4
Happy Thanksgiving

11 months

Miss Elliana Grace is 11 months... soon to be 1 year old!

I'm so thankful for the past 11 months... you have been such a sweet blessing to our family! You have taught us so much even though you don't even know it!

It is so hard to see you grow up so fast but I am excited for what is in store for us next! Happy 11 months little miss!

being a fairy princess is hard work...

...but someone's gotta do it! For trick or treat day Elliana dressed up like a fairy princess! She was the cutest little fairy I have ever seen (not that I'm partial or anything!) She wasn't sure about the whole outfit... with the tutu, boa, fairy wings and fairy wand but she posed for a few pics which is all it took to make this mama happy! We took some pictures with the cutest little spider web I've ever seen (again... not that I'm partial at all to Mr. Jace!) and went trick or treating to Nana and Papa's. That was about all this little fairy princess could handle!
Even though we are not going to play Halloween up in this house it is fun to dress up, pretend, have fun, imagine and just enjoy life! It is such a joy to have these experiences with a child and to see the world through their eyes! I think this is only the beginning of many more fun and silly adventures to come on the Isaacson Farm!
